About the Client

The customer was an integrated marketing solutions leader. Worldwide representation allowed the company to leverage data powers to identify audiences, personalize ad experiences, optimize media buying processes, and maximize revenue. The customer was well-known for their strong commitment to customer service and that was why Geomotiv was signed up to help develop a technical solution that would optimize and automate ad campaign deals and facilitate media planning. The customer acted as a “bridge” between advertisers and publishers, and Geomotiv was to ensure seamless contracting between the parties and also to eliminate time-consuming processes that were conventionally done mainly by hand (email correspondence, phone calls, form completion, deal arrangements, etc.).

Technologies Used

Our aim was to create a media buying platform that would later be transformed into a Marketplace with an API to manage deals and transactions. That way advertisers and publishers could have their own dashboard within the platform. Apart from that, the API could be used by third-party advertisers and publishers and be customized according to their specific business needs.

Work Description

We ran deep business analysis and considered the client’s requirements. Then the team created an MVP of two constituents, back end and front end. The back-end component was based on Java while we utilized React.JS and JavaScript for the front-end part. The team used Docker to build the project, and Jenkins, to deploy it. There was also a specialty regarding the UI development part. We couldn’t use 3rd-party components for it and were only allowed to utilize the in-house UI component stack.
